Bamboo Stroll original plein air landscape oil painting Fullerton Arboretum at California State University Fullerton SOCALPAPA

$700.00

'Bamboo Stroll' a 24"x12" is the first piece I painted at the Plein Air Event l at the Fullerton Arboretum with the SoCal Plein Air Painters Association.
A brook side spot shaded by bamboo and redwoods provided a perfect location.
Gallery wrapped, with painted sides, so it can be displayed with or without a frame. The repetition of the brush strokes was very soothing and peaceful. Building the color contrast of the leaves isolated against the background was actually quite fun. One of my favorites and the earths most useful plants, Bamboo reminds me of the time spent in Tokyo in my youth.
And the majesty of the young California Redwoods is a blessing that can only be experienced here on the west coast.
Hopefully this piece brings prosperity and a calming, energizing effect on all who view it...
