"Martian Bonsai"- Is a look inside my future Mars. There's a beautiful sunset setting lake Bessemer ablaze with color in the 'Planetary Preservation Park' tonight. Being downstream and downwind from the terraforming plants, and the industrial district provides ground water, the light haze of smog to help shield the vegetation, and enough incidental precipitation to gather a fair snow each Martian winter. The black ash that has washed down from the mountains provides a nutrient rich base for the new vegetation; and offset to all of the mineralization and rock.
